Classes & Prices
Barre Body classes are all strong and dynamic, designed to stretch, tone and reshape your body. Be prepared to feel like you’ve had a workout. Beginners absolutely welcome!
Barre Body – Our signature class at the barre, Barre Body will reshape and sculpt your body. Fusing yoga and barre conditioning exercises, Barre Body comprises interval training and isometric exercises incorporating hand weights, mat work and the barre to tone and shape your body.
Barre Moves – More balletic in style, Barre Moves combines flowing yoga and contemporary and classical ballet exercises to burn fat and tone your body at the barre and on the mat. No dance experience required.
Barre Tone – In the US style of barre classes, this strong and dynamic core-focused class integrates pilates principles and exercises with barre work and hand weights to tone and shape your body.
Barre Cardio - A strong and energising total body cardio class that combines high-energy cardio intervals (HIIT) with barre and Pilates conditioning.
Dynamic Flow – A strong and dynamic vinyasa flow yoga class. Vinyasa is a flowing style of yoga with a sequence of postures synchronised by the breath. This class will challenge your body, quieten your mind and uplift your spirit.
Detox Flow – A strong, flowing practice focusing on twists and forward bends for detoxification. Boosts circulation and helps to stimulate lymphatic drainage and fluid/weight loss.
Pilates Mat – A class comprising of strong Pilates mat exercises to condition your body. The blend of strength and flexibility training improves posture and creates long, lean muscles.
Prenatal barre 1:1 – All of our classes are suitable for mummas-to-be (with the exception of detox yoga). Contact us to book your 30min 1:1 session before coming along to a class. We will teach you all the modifications you need to know to attend any class.
ALL classes are suitable for beginners to advanced students. Your teacher will offer you suitable modifications, variations and challenges to suit your level of fitness, experience and ability.

There is a 6 week minimum term for memberships. After that period, memberships can be cancelled or paused by contacting us with at least 7 days notice.

Preparing for class
- Turn your mobile phone off before entering the studio and leave your worries at the door
- The studio will open 10-15 minutes before the class start time
- Wear comfortable clothing and bare feet
- Yoga mats and equipment provided
- Try not to eat for 1-2 hours before class
- Bring a water bottle
Free 101, barre technique & 8 week ballet workshops These workshops are designed to give you more of an understanding of the three disciplines that Barre Body fuses in its classes. You will have the chance to work on your form in our Yoga 101, grace and poise in ourBallet 101 as well as technique in our Beginner Barre & Barre Technique workshops. If you want to further your ballet skills, you are also welcome to join the 8 week ballet course for free.

Barre Body DVDs Members are now able to purchase the Barre Body DVDs for $20 (20% discount). To take advantage of the discount, please purchase your DVD at the studio.

$50 two week intro
The best way to try our studios, teachers and classes is to purchase the $50 intro pass, which allows you to attend unlimited classes for two weeks.
We love pregnant clients at Barre Body and our classes are suitable during pregnancy (with the exception of Detox Yoga for entire pregnancy and Pilates Mat post 16 weeks).
Before coming to class you MUST watch the video below as it explains and outlines our pregnancy modifications. Your teacher will also review the appropriate modifications with you in your first class so please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for this.
We also highly recommend our Prenatal Barre 1:1 sessions (30 mins) to learn modifications in-depth in a personal context.
We recommend taking a break in the first trimester, but if you have been coming to Barre Body you may choose to continue classes in the first trimester, but please be much more more gentle with your body and avoid twisting poses that compress the belly.
Barre Body classes are a fantastic way to prepare for labour (fitness + strong legs & glutes are a big help during the contractions and active labour) and keep your body toned, making it much easier to regain your shape after bub is born.
