Meet Bec, our Barre Body Online studio manager

If you’re a member of the Barre Body Online community (or Byron Bay, for that matter), chances are you’ll recognise Bec. As the new BBO Studio Manager and Head Teacher at our sister studio Bende, her infectious smile is, at this point, almost as widely beloved as her Reformer Flow classes. Here, we sat down to talk books, barre, and her go-to post sweat snack.


What’s your favourite class to teach?

Barre and Reformer Flow. I love everything! But those two are probably my top faves.

What’s your ideal post-class meal/snack/drink/treat?

Oat latte and choc hemp ball from Vagabond, downstairs from the Bende studio. Or, I usually make my own smoothie every morning as well with all the things (yummy hemp protein, greens powder, berries, peanut butter, etc.) and keep it in a chiller cup for after class.

What’s your go-to song to get you pumped up for class?

‘Like Water’ by Ladi6, the new Elton John and Dua Lipa remix of ‘Cold Heart’ with Pnau, and anything Billie Eilish.

The last good book you read?

Fiction: Outlander, A Breath of Snow and Ashes.

Non-fiction: Ketotarian by Dr Will Cole.

I read a lot because I’m studying health coaching and nutrition at the moment.

What can we expect to experience in your class?

Sweat, flow, hard work, cardio, laughs, dance moves, laughing at myself, and apologising for going over time because I want to fit so much in!
