Mango Mayhem Smoothies from Green Press
In this brand new blog series, our good friends at Green Press are sharing some of the recipes behind their delicious smoothies. Not only are they packed full of nutrients and can be made at home, they’re also ridiculously tasty. Here is the first of the recipes to indulge in – Mango Mayhem! (And don’t worry that mangoes aren’t in season; frozen works beautifully.)
The world’s favourite tropical fruit. One mango has more than a day’s worth of vitamin C and nearly half of your vitamin A needs. You can almost guess that from the orange pigmentation. But enough about the nutrients.
Mangoes are juicy deliciousness. So flavourful I’m always reluctant to put them in a smoothie. They are too fragile to share the spotlight with other ingredients. But if you’re lucky enough to find too many ripe ones in the fridge, this is where they belong. In our Mango Mayhem Smoothie.
