Leslie Hudson

Location: Australia

Why we love Leslie: “I am one step closer to being able to empower my community to go for the things they want, to heal through movement while building their mind body connection. I have this dream of helping women connect through movement. A sacred space where they feel safe to slow down, move and build their mind-body connection. I hope to show women how transformative Pilates can be.”

Emma-Jane Trudgett

Location: Australia

Why we love Emma-Jane: “Uniting my love foThis scholarship is my golden ticket, a chance to grow and share my unique journey. It’s not just about refining my skills; it’s about pouring my heart, story, and infectious enthusiasm into empowering other women. This opportunity means the world to me, as it opens doors to impact lives and create ripples of positive change. Movement isn’t just a part of my life; it’s my heartbeat. It’s deeply ingrained in my Wiradjuri roots, an intrinsic part of who I am. From the early days of expressing myself through dance, it became my sanctuary. As life unfolded, movement evolved into my mental escape, my sacred “me time.” Now, it’s my journey towards the best version of myself, setting an example for my kids, and embracing health and self-expression daily.”

Cassandra Tye

Location: Australia

Why we love Cassie: “Movement has become such a valuable and vital part of my life after neglecting it for many of my adult years. Making it a priority to incorporate movement into my day has had a flow on benefit on my overall health (especially mental health). I find that I have more energy during the day when working with 24 5-year-olds as a teacher and also suffer from less injuries.”

Meg Ryan

Location: Australia

Why we love Meg: “I am a wife, mum of two small children, a Clinical Nurse Educator and Midwife and have suffered postnatal depression and anxiety. I picked up Mat Pilates as a new form of exercise during my recovery and cannot explain the profound effect it has had on me. I have come out the other side of the darker days of my mental health journey and am now so passionate now to learn, teach and share a practice that helped me so much.”

Emily Armstrong

Location: Australia

Why we love Emily: “I want to bring Pilates to the women of outback Australia. From droughts, floods, bushfires, and no access to physical classes, this scholarship will allow me to offer Pilates via my online channel and provide women with access no matter how isolated they are in outback Australia.”
