- Barre foundations and philosophy
- Functional anatomy and biomechanics
- Alignment, posture and movement principles
- The full Barre Body exercise repertoire
- Modifications for prenatal clients, injuries and various fitness levels
- Creative sequencing, class structure and flow
- Teaching styles, cueing and use of voice
- Hands-on corrections and student support
- Layering techniques for multi-level classes
- Barre class planning for 45 + 60 minutes

In-Person Course Requirements:
- 47 in person hours (6 days across 2 weekends)
Post In-Person Course Requirements:- 10 observation hours
- 30 participation hours
- 30 practice teaching hours
- 33 hours post course revision
- Assessment tasks
Submit your assessment video up to 6 months after in-studio completion. We support your success every step of the way.

- A written class plan for a 1:1 session
- A group class written plan (this will match the class you teach in your video assessment)
- Video Assessment
- Record and submit a 45–60 minute class, based on your group class plan
- Administration
- All course fees paid in full
