SOur courses are open to everyone! Our course materials cater to everyone from absolute beginners to those with existing fitness qualifications. As part of your course preparation, we do suggest you attend at least 10 Pilates classes in person or online.
After enrolling, you have unlimited access to your online modules for a total of 9 months. We suggest writing notes and the exercises down in your manuals so you can keep them with you forever!
Firstly, don’t panic! One of the very best things about Barre Body’s training programs is that we make learning anatomy accessible and even – wait for it – fun. Promise!
You can ask questions at any time online and they will be answered by one of our master trainers, who are available around the clock to answer any queries and to help guide you through your course. You will also gain immediate lifetime access to our Facebook community of trainees and graduates.
If you have the ability to visit a studio, we recommend completing your hours face to face. However, you are able to complete a portion of your hours online via Barre Body Online. As a Barre Body Teacher Training student, you receive discounted access to Barre Body Online.
To become a certified Barre Body teacher through our online training, you’ll complete a mix of coursework, practical hours, and final assessments designed to ensure you feel confident and ready to teach. Here’s what’s required:
- Course completion: 100% of the online modules, including both the Main Course and the Anatomy Course.
- Log hours:
- 10 hours of class observation
- 30 hours of class participation
- 30 hours of practice teaching
- Written assessments:
- A 1,000-word essay
- An individual written class plan
- A group written class plan (this is the same plan you’ll use for your teaching video)
- Practical assessment: A 45–60 minute video of you teaching a class.
- Administration: Your course fees must be paid in full.
Once these requirements are met, you’ll be certified and ready to begin your teaching journey!
